Rockhall is an early 16th century tower house…
… which incorporates earlier, possibly 15th century, work. The house stands on rising ground just north of the strategic main route from Annan in the east to Dumfries in the west.
Dating from the 16th century, Rockhall is nestled in 15 acres of sweeping lawns and mature woodland within the Collin hillside in South West Scotland.
Arriving at Rockhall through the sandstone pillared gate entrance, the driveway leads to a generous turning circle and parking at the front of the property; a welcoming and magnificent tower house.
Going through the property’s hall with its sitting area and wood burning stove, you will find the grand staircase and climb to pass the gallery landings to your light and airy bedroom on the top floor, with stunning views across Rockhall’s gardens and the area.
The house is a Scottish hideaway – a retreat from everyday life.
